PETE PESSEL
Pete Pessel manages the day-to-day creative operations at National Media. His creative abilities and experience span from corporate image, identity and branding, through public affairs, issue advocacy and political advertising.
Pete directs strategic development, writing, and concept through the hands-on ad execution phases. Pete directs television, film and radio and manages concept and direction for print, collateral and web presence. Pete has helped over a hundred campaigns of all shapes and sizes reach their goals. He has created ads to help grow small start-up companies and helped major corporations with positioning, identity and message.
Advertising Age has called Pete's work "innovative" and Fortune Magazine called one of Pete's TV campaigns "one of the year's most colorful of all." Roll Call named one of his TV ads to its "Top ten funniest ads" list. Pete received the Mark of Excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Award of Excellence from The Videographer Awards, and the Pollie Award from the American Association of Political Consultants.
Pete's educational background includes an M.A. in Film from American University, and B.S. in Biomedical Communications from Stockton College.
